Return / Exchange Policy

At Yarn & Zari, we are committed to making your shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. We take great care to ensure you receive high quality products but in case of an untoward event of you receiving a damaged product or a wrong product you can raise an exchange request by following the below steps: 

RETURN / EXCHANGE 

  1. While we do not accept returns, we allow exchanges if the item is defective or damaged or in case of a missing/ wrong product provided the exchange request is raised within 3 days of receipt of the product by emailing at support@yarnandzari.com along with a package opening video from start to end. 
  2. The customer support team shall review the exchange request within 48 hours. Once the exchange request is approved for initiation, as we do not have reverse pick up facility at the moment, the customer shall have to send the product back to the address provided by the customer support team in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transit. The product should also be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons. 
  3. The reverse courier ought to be done via a standard courier service so that the package can be tracked. We do not take any responsibility for a package lost in reverse transit. 
  4. On receipt of the reverse courier, the exchange request is approved only post quality check. 
  5. Once the exchange request is approved, if the customer is unable to choose from the styles available at the time of exchange, a store credit of the order amount valid for 6 months shall be sent to the email id used while placing the order. 

NOTE: Exchanges are subject to the product passing our quality checks. Also products sold during Sale are not eligible for exchange. 

Product Disclaimer

The details of the products or product specifications (weight, color, handwork details, length etc.) as mentioned on the website are only approximate values. 

Because products on Yarn & Zari are designer made, handwoven and intricately crafted and sourced from various parts of India, there may be variation in color and embellishment of the actual product against that as shown on the page. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dyeing and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography, color settings and capabilities of computer monitors. We take utmost care while photographing images to match the true color of the saree. However, there might be slight color variations due to differences in the display of the screen. Kindly note color variation or color mismatch will not be considered as a valid reason to process an exchange. 

Some of our sarees which are very fine, such as pure silk, mul cotton, silk linen, tissue linen, tussar silk, organza or linen tend to crush while shipping. We do not treat this as a defect and is only considered to be an inherent quality of the fabric/product. We recommend the customers to iron them before wearing.
